BIKER, PILLION INJURED AFTER CAR HITS THEM
Two men on two-wheeler were injured after they were hit by a four-wheeler car at Teen Hath Naka on Friday.
Mohammed Mustaq Khan, 25, and his friend M Shaikh, 24, both residents of Mumbai who work in private firm, were going to Nashik. Around 8pm, a car tried to overtake them and hit the motorcycle at Teen Hath Naka.
Siddesh Sanjiv Dedhkhale, 29, a resident of Mumbai, was driving the car and was heading in the same direction as the bike. He was arrested after the accident. A police officer from Naupada police station said, “Dedhkhale was trying to overtake the bike but lost control and crashed into the bike.”
“Initially, we took the injured to Thane civil hospital. Because of their serious injuries, they were shifted to a hospital in Mumbai,” he said.
“The car driver was not drunk,” said the police.
