TREE PRUNING TO FINISH BY MAY 30
Work has begun in NMMC area with respect to pruning of dangerous and dead trees in the city. The work will be completed in all wards by May 30 say NMMC garden department officials.
According to Chandrakant Tayde, garden department officer, “A detail action plan has been prepared by the garden department in this regard. Work
is proceeding accordingly.”
He said, “It involves removing dead or dangerous trees and trimming branches.”
Tayde said, “Inspections have been made of all the trees in every ward to check on weak trees. Corrective action is being taken wherever we receive such complaints.”
