ACB files dis­pro­por­tion­ate as­sets case against Bhu­jbals, 7 others

MUM­BAI: The anti-cor­rup­tion bureau (ACB) on Thurs­day reg­is­tered a case of dis­pro­por­tion­ate as­sets against Na­tion­al­ist Congress Party (NCP) leader Ch­ha­gan Bhu­jbal and 11 others.

The ACB has named Ch­ha­gan Bhu­jbal (for­mer min­is­ter); son Pankaj (MLA); nephew Sameer Bhu­jbal (for­mer MP); wife Meena; and daugh­terin-law Vishakha (Pankaj’s wife) as ac­cused. Char­tered Ac­coun­tant (CA) Su­nil Damodar Naik, Suresh Ja­jodiya (mar­ket op­er­a­tor), Pravinku­mar Jain (con­troller of var­i­ous com­pa­nies), San­jeev Bi­malku­mar Jain (fi­nan­cial con­sul­tant from Kolkata), Chan­drashekhar Madan­lal Sarda (CA), Jagdish­prasad Bhalchan­dra Puro­hit (con­troller of var­i­ous com­pa­nies) and Kapil Ra­jprakash Puri (chief man­ag­ing di­rec­tor of Spanco Lim­ited) are the other ac­cused named in the case.
