NMMC LAUNCHES HELPLINE FOR COM­PLAINTS

CBD BELAPUR: Mu­nic­i­pal com­mis­sioner Tukaram Munde who laid stress on the dis­ci­plined and ef­fi­cient func­tion­ing of the var­i­ous civic de­part­ments has taken up ini­tia­tives to pro­vide quick and easy ser­vices to res­i­dents.

He has now ini­ti­ated a What­sApp num­ber, 8424013099, to reg­is­ter com­plaints by res­i­dents with re­spect to elec­tri­cal prob­lems.

“The us­age of so­cial me­dia and es­pe­cially What­sApp has grown by leaps and bounds amongst the res­i­dents. To make it eas­ier for the res­i­dents to com­plain or give sug­ges­tions on elec­tric-re­lated is­sues, on the com­mis­sioner’s in­struc­tions we have started the What­sApp ser­vice for the res­i­dents,” Said NMMC deputy mu­nic­i­pal com­mis­sioner Ja­gan­nath Sin­narkar.

He added, “Res­i­dents can send mes­sages, pho­to­graphs or video clips and reg­is­ter their com­plaints or sug­ges­tions on the What­sapp num­ber. Im­me­di­ate ac­tion will be taken on the com­plaint re­ceived.”

“The res­i­dents will be in­formed of the ac­tion taken through What­sApp,” he said.
