Airport PAP to get 18 months rent during rehab period
NAVI MUMBAI: As the development work of the Navi Mumbai International Airport project is set to commence soon, the City and Industrial Development Corporation (Cidco) has decided to provide house rent to the project affected people (PAP) before they get plots.
Cidco took the decision after a meeting with chief minister Devendra Fadnavis. The period to be considered for the house rent is from July this year to December 2017, said Mohan Ninawe, senior public relation officer, Cidco.
“The house-owners who are willing to accept this rent package have to demolish their structure and give possession of land to Cidco. The compensation of Rs12 per sqft per month will be given based on the area considered to decide his/her plot allotment eligibility,” he added.
The house-owners who are willing to accept this rent package in advance from CIDCO have been asked to contact the office of officer on special duty (Land), ground floor, Cidco, from June 16.
HOUSE RENT WOULD BE GIVEN TO PROJECT-HIT FROM JULY THIS YEAR TO DECEMBER 2017
