14-year-old among four who ended life in one day

THANE: Four peo­ple com­mit­ted sui­cide in Thane in 24 hours.

In all the four sui­cide cases, po­lice sta­tions have lodge an ac­ci­den­tal death re­port and fur­ther in­ves­ti­ga­tion is on.

In the first case, a Nashik res­i­dent who had come to Thane for work com­mit­ted sui­cide on Wed­nes­day morn­ing at Nat­war Ho­tel in Wa­gle Es­tate.

He hanged him­self with a ny­lon rope. The de­ceased was iden­ti­fied as Su­nil Chand­sare,48. He used to work in a pri­vate firm.

Chand­sare said in a sui­cide note that he was end­ing his life be­cause of fam­ily dis­pute and per­sonal prob­lems. The Wa­gle es­tate po­lice sta­tion have reg­is­tered the case.

In sec­ond case, a 14-yearold boy, Mayur Jan­dadiya, hanged him­self in his house at Kasar­wa­davli. It was his first day at school. He went out to play and then re­turned home and com­mit­ted sui­cide. The Kasar­wa­davli po­lice sta­tion have reg­is­tered the case and that no sui­cide note has been found. The par­ents will go to school and check if he had any kind of ar­gu­ments or fight with his friends.

A woman aged 45 years who was suf­fer­ing from schizophre­nia hanged her­self by with du­patta at her home in Raghu­nath Na­gar in Wa­gle Es­tate around 6pm. Sushma Ram­chan­dra Shinde’s fam­ily came to know about it af­ter they en­tered her room.

At 6.45pm, a 20-year-old woman jumped in front of train on plat­form no.2 at Thane sta­tion. The de­ceased was iden­ti­fied as Madhu Singh, 24, who had gone for an in­ter­view. She was taken to Thane civil hospi­tal. She was a res­i­dent of Wa­gle Es­tate. All the four bod­ies were brought to Thane civil hospi­tal for post mortem.
