LITTLE RESPONSE TO SIGNING OF LEASE AGREEMENT

Hindustan Times ST (Mumbai) - HT Navi Mumbai Live - - NAVI MUMBAI -

Despite eight months of the 22.5% land allotment, the project-affected people have not shown much interest in signing lease agreement deed with Cidco as yet. So far, only seven PAP have entered into the agreement with Cidco.

Local sources said that with tripartite agreement process starting, several more PAP could soon come forward to sign their lease agreement with Cidco.

Possession in 6 months

Pushpaknagar is at present undergoing land-filling work. The work is expected to be completed in the next six months. Once that is done, the plot owners will be given physical possession of their land, said Cidco officials.

“If the PAP still want to sell their land, it is their right and decision. That is why we have initiated the tripartite agreement system for their benefit.” V RADHA, Cidco joint managing director
