Nu­clear sci­en­tist mo­ti­vates Cidco of­fi­cials

Nu­clear sci­en­tist and me­chan­i­cal en­gi­neer Dr Anil Anil Kakod­kar, on a visit to the City and In­dus­trial De­vel­op­ment Cor­po­ra­tion (Cidco) of­fice, spoke on Thurs­day about how chang­ing mind­set to­wards work can help em­ploy­ees achieve suc­cess.

“To get ex­cel­lence in life, one has to com­bine vi­sion, mis­sion and pas­sion. This is the eas­i­est way of achiev­ing great suc­cess and cre­at­ing a source of life­long ful­fil­ment,” Kakod­kar said.

He said ex­cel­lence is an on­go­ing process and one needs to work to­wards it con­tin­u­ously. He added that em­ploy­ees need to love what they do oth­er­wise it would be dif­fi­cult for them to be proac­tive and be suc­cess­ful. “One has to fo­cus on or­gan­i­sa­tional goal along with his or her per­sonal achieve­ments,” said Kakod­kar.

A se­nior Cidco of­fi­cial said, “The ‘Chang­ing minds’ ini­tia­tive does not just mean chang­ing the mind­set but ex­pand­ing the mind­set to strengthen and broaden their thought pro­cesses.”
