PETER CONSENTED TO LIE-DETECTOR TESTS: CBI SOURCES
The CBI, last Friday, was given permission by a local court in Delhi to conduct scientific tests, including lie-detector tests, on him. Sources in the agency said Peter had given his consent to go through these tests. Peter has been in CBI custody since November 19 and was later taken to Delhi for further interrogation. CBI officials said Peter and Indrani had siphoned off around Rs900 crore to bank accounts in Singapore. They said that there was a possibility that the bank accounts were in
Sheena’s name. The agency also said it has sought help from the Interpol to identify these accounts.
