Killer’s sister alerted residents about incident
THANE: Kasarvadavli residents, who rushed to help Subiya Barmal escape, gave chilling details of how the event unfolded on Sunday morning.
Hasnain’s sister, Subiya, 22, alerted the neighbours after she saw her brother killing her sister. “Bachao…bhaiya ne sabko mar diya hai (Help …brother has killed all),” shouted Subiya, after locking herself in a bedroom. She was hit on her cheek by Hasnain but she managed to push him.
Altamesh Irfan Warekar, 22, their neighbour and relative, rushed to the house.
“Around 3.30am, my mother asked me to check what had hap he said.
“When I came out, I saw Hasnain’s sister Subiya inside the room screaming for help. I woke up other neighbours and relatives. We tried to open the door but it was locked from inside. We broke the window grille and pulled out Subiya. She was wounded,” said Altamesh.
When Altamesh and the other residents looked inside the house, they were shocked. “When peeped from a window, bodies were lying on floor. Hasnain had hanged himself,” said Altamesh.
The villagers took Subiya to Titan Hospital.
As news spread, villagers and frantic relatives started to gather at the house. Thane police commissioner Parambir Singh too
