Tough times don’t last. Where there is life, there is hope

- Vinav Sharma

Life will have its ups and downs, along with calm and rough times. If you get to see the rough first consider yourself to be a step ahead because when the transition happens, you will find life easier. If you fall again, you know how to endure. On the other hand, if you see the brighter side of life first and the darker later then the terrain will be rough and the roughness will depend upon the degree of adversity you face.

It’s simple — when we are going through a good phase we are like soldiers who have to go through a forest having been informed about the coordinates of the enemy. However, in rough times, it’s only us who are left there without weapons and coordinates. We know the enemy can and will attack us from any direction.

We are faced with two options— we can hide or we can fret about the situation that this is not fair. The second option is that we can just negotiate this situation and realise that we can make it through. It is not impossible. It goes without saying that courage will play a crucial role but remember that the most important things we need to keep in mind are hope, faith and self-belief.

We cannot let this situation win, and we will dig deep and come out on top. It may be hard in the beginning, but once you attune yourself to this mindset, you will find yourself open to beautiful experiences. Before I conclude, let’s keep Stephen Hawking’s lesson in our mind: However bad life may seem, there is always something you can do and succeed at,while there is life there is hope.
