AFGHANISTAN THUMP ZIM BY 106 RUNS, WIN SERIES
HARARE: Afghanistan bundled out Zimbabwe for 54 runs to complete a comprehensive 106-run win over the hosts to seal the five-odi series 3-2, in Harare on Sunday. Riding on half-century from Man of the Match Rahmat Shah and useful contributions from Noor Ali Zadran and Mohammad Nabi, Afghanistan scored a competitive 253/9 in their 50 overs. Zimbabwe could never get going in pursuit of a revised 161-run target from 22 overs, and the visitors continued to chip away with wickets at regular intervals. Amir Hamza and Mohammad Nabi took three wickets apiece as eight Zimbabwe batsmen failed to reach double figures. Young leg-spinner Rashid Khan, who along with Nabi has been snapped by IPL franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad, also claimed two wickets.
