Raj Shah, Sanders to quit White House?
WASHINGTON: White House principal deputy press secretary Raj Shah and his boss Sarah Huckabee Sanders are planning to quit their positions, according to a media report.
Shah, who is one of the most visible members of the Donald Trump administration, is yet to settle on an exact date to depart the White House, CBS News reported citing sources close to the administration.
The report said press secretary Sanders had “told friends that she plans to leave the administration at the end of the year”.
However, Sanders appeared to quash the report. “Does @CBSNEWS know something I don’t about my plans and my future? I was at my daughter’s year-end Kindergarten event and they ran a story about my “plans to leave the WH” without even talking to me. I love my job and am honored to work for @POTUS,” she tweeted.
Shah did not respond to repeated requests for comment.
