The Ryan International Group of Institutions was recently recognised for its charitable efforts by the Guinness World Records.

The Group’s school in Sharjah, UAE, received this honour for participating in the world’s largest charity donation for the poor.

The students collected over 2,05,122 items of clothing to donate. This was verified by authorities of the Guinness World Records before it was acknowledged as a record.

Grace Pinto, MD, Ryan International Group of Institutions, says, “We are grateful for the vision that Lord Jesus Christ has given us to nurture responsible and compassionate future citizens of the world.”

The school authorities are well-known for providing holistic education to students, and for undertaking large scale initiatives to reach out to the underprivileged and to build a sense of social responsibility amongst their students.
