After the success of the show, Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai, Sony Entertainment Television and Shashi Sumeet Productions bring forth a new show – Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya. The show, set in the sweeping royal canvas of Rajasthan, premieres tonight at 9pm, and will be telecast every Monday to Friday.

Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya, is the story of a unique relationship of Diya (Tejasswi Prakash) and Ratan Maan Singh (Rohit Suchanti). It is a relationship that is based not on birth, blood, marriage, love, or any other interests like wealth and power but on a simple ‘promise’ made to a benevolent, dying man.

This finite story will challenge the conventional perception of man being the protector of woman and turn this stereotypical thought on its head.

Sumeet Hukamchand Mittal, founder and director of Shashi Sumeet Productions, says, “Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya is a unique concept that we are sure will captivate audience interest. In Diya, a character played by Tejasswi, we are confident TV viewers will get an inspirational iconic heroine, a shade of heroine never seen before.”

THIS FINITE STORY WILL CHALLENGE THE CONVENTIONAL PERCEPTION OF MAN BEING THE PROTECTOR OF WOMAN.
