This show will see professional and home chefs clash in the kitchen
Calling out to all food lovers and home chefs, Zee Café is all set to bring a brand-neww cooking series – The Chefs’ Line. The idea of the show comes from the fact that in every restaurant kitchen, therre exists The Chefs’ Line starting from the Apprentice Chef, way upp to the Head Chef.
This show is the ultimate competition wherein home chefs will battle against culinary professionals. Each week, four amateur home cooks will try and out cook an entire Chefs’ Line, from one of Australia’s favourite restaurants, in the hopes that their passion will prevail over the profession.
Judging the exquisite dishes, will be three of Australia’s hottest culinary stars: internationally renowned Executive Chef Dan Hong, popular food writer Melissa Leong and Australia’s most famous indigenous chef, Mark Olive. Speaking about the USP of the show, Hong says, “It’s all about the food! We are celebrating a different cuisine every week”. Leong adds, “From Chinese and Thai to Japanese and Indian, we had so much fun celebrating the universal connection that food brings to the table. What sets The Chef ’s Line apart is a focus on fun, sharing authentic knowledge and the sheer joy of eating and sharing food with people you love. “
