The Ek Hasina Thi actor who reveals that her two favourite cuisines are Chinese and Mughlai, says, “I love making noodles as they are simple and quick to prepare. Often I pair noodles with chicken gravy. I also love Mughlai food. My husband Aamir (Aamir Ali; actor) and I have recently opened a restaurant which serves Indian cuisine. From galouti kebabs to chicken tandoori, we serve authentic Mughlai food.
The ever-smiling popular girl from television, recalls an interesting anecdote on her love for food. “When Aamir and I started dating, he took me to a Chinese restaurant on one of our initial dates. When you are trying to get to know each other, during the initial phase of dating, most girls act coy and put their best foot forward. I was so impressed with Aamir that he had done so much research on me and found out that I loved Chinese, I hogged and didn’t hold back. My then-boyfriend, nowhusband is pretty impressed with my eating habits, though it doesn’t show in my figure,” adds the actor.
