Explaining freedom to children

India’s foremost spice brand, Catch Salts & Spices has had an age-old association with taste. With every new spice variant, the brand has successfully ensured its rightful place in Indian kitchens. Bridging tradition with change, mixing flavours with fun, Catch occupies a special place in the hearts of food aficionado, across the world.

The brand, which was the partner to the recently concluded HT City Culinary Fest Season 3, received the perfect platform to showcase its range of spices and the magic that it can create by elevating the taste of any simple dish.

In the first season of HT Culinary Fest, Catch offered fusion recipes by combining Indian and World cuisines. The second season witnessed a series of soul-warming winter delicacies. And the third one was all about monsoon recipes consisting of hot snacks and quick tangy treats. It also featured Catch’s brand ambassador, Vidya Balan’s favourite recipes.

In each season, the recipes made using Catch spices have got the consumers excited.

Exploring new frontiers in taste, the team of Catch Salts & Spices pledges to continue to stir up such delicious surprises.

It has been seven decades since India attained freedom. Looking back, we can proudly say that our country has made progress in various spheres, be it science, technology, economy, sports, health-care, education or space. In many areas, India is now leading the world.

However, India still continues to battle problems of poverty, unemployment, illiteracy, child mortality, pollution, food shortage and human trafficking. And empowering Indians through value-based education is the key to progress and emancipation in future.

Concerned parents say that the concept of freedom needs to be explained to children. Freedom always comes with responsibility — tt’s not the license to be able to do whatever one pleases.

Therefore, providing them with the right foundation is the need of the hour. We need to give our children wings of freedom with roots of responsibility. They can then be deeply rooted in values and soar high as productive and responsible human beings in the world.

Parents, teachers and elders need to be the positive energy beneath the wings of our children.
