ABHISHEK PARTS WAYS WITH KRIARJ ON KEDARNATH

The film Kedarnath, starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan (above), seems to have hit a roadblock. We have come to know that filmmaker Abhishek Kapoor’s (top) production house has apparently decided to part ways with KriArj Entertainment with regard to the film. “Yes, although the two production houses had collaborated on the ambitious project earlier, Abhishek is no longer a part of the joint production,” says a trade insider. Sources close to the director reveal that Abhishek has pulled out “due to default of payments and lack of transparency”. Kedarnath has been making noise from the time the project was announced, as it also marks the debut of the much talked about Sara Ali Khan, daughter of actor Saif Ali Khan. The first schedule of the film – a love story set against the backdrop of the 2013 Uttarakhand floods – is done. Abhishek couldn’t be reached for a comment.
