‘A HAPPY SPACE’

HT City - - FRONT PAGE -

As an artist and a person, what’s your big ambition at this stage?

My real ambition is to grow as a human being and become a smarter person. That happens only with ‘satsang’ or having the right people around you — people who challenge you and make you a better person and a better artist. Weirdly, as soon as I realised that is what I wanted to do, my film trajectory and my success rate started going upwards. When you do something with the right intention and purpose, things look up for you. I guess that’s what shifted or changed for me. So, I decided, ‘I want to be in a happy space, work with people who are nice to me and who don’t torture me on the [film] sets’.
