I HOPE PARENTS WILL LET THEIR GIRLS TAKE ON CHALLENGES: LUCKY TAMILS

Back home in Assam, I have seen parents not allowing girls to take on different challenges. But I know that girls over there are brave enough to take up any hurdles — mental and physical both. It was my dream to join a security force, but I didn’t plan on joining Delhi Police, as such. However, I got lucky. I am now a part of the first women commando force, SWAT. I hope people in Assam will let their girls take demanding roles (after they see my achievements).
