Cosmopolitan living

We moved into our 3 BHK unit in Patparganj in 2002. There have been a lot many changes in the intervening years and today the property prices are skyrocketing. Back in the good old days if you wanted to buy a house in Delhi, this was one of the places that had offerings in the affordable category. The crowd in this part of town is very cosmopolitan. People living here come from various walks of life. A major part of the population comes from the working class.

As far as infrastructure is concerned, this place scores pretty high. Even where electricity supply is concerned, there are very few outages in this part of the city. There is 24X7 power back-up. Parking space too is no problem. Security is good in the group housing societies, which are well-manned. The problem areas that need attention are roads and that there are very few entry and exit points.

Things are okay otherwise. We have lots of entertainment options. For movies and eating out we go to the popular malls in Noida and East Delhi like Great India Place, Sector 18, EDM, V3S quite often. All in all, it’s really a great experience living here.
