‘We can do with more parks’

Iam a 38-year-old home decor entrepreneur. I have been living in the EA block for the past 13 years. My in-laws have been here for the past 47 years and I shifted here after my marriage. I have two children and both of them study at Ryan International School, Vasant Kunj. I like this place because of its location and surroundings. As an entrepreneur, I frequently visit various parts of Delhi and find commuting easy and convenient from here. Besides, all key places

such as Connaught Place, Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi Railway Station, Ring Road etc are within a range of 10 kms. Prominent hospitals like Ganga Ram, Ram Manohar Lohia, B K Kapoor are also close by. I am also very happy with the neighbourhood and civic facilities within Inderpuri. Water and electricity supply are not in short supply – at least in my block. But the number of parks are few as compared to the population of the colony. There is only one well-maintained park which gets extremely crowded in the mornings

and evenings.
