‘Vasundhara is the best in Ghaziabad’
My experience of living in Vasundhara has been satisfactory. I shifted here in 2007 to Sector 15 after living in Hapur and Kamla Nehru Nagar. I liked the infrastructure here, which is much better if you compare it with Vaishali, Kaushambi and Indirapuram.
Most of the projects in Vasundhara have been completed, though there is still a gap in the demand and supply.
I live in a 1550 sq ft 3BHK in Royal Legacy. I bought this house for R47 lakh in 2007. The price of this prop- erty has now increased by about 100%. We have access to all facilities here and the developer has delivered what was promised to us.
There are plenty of shopping, eating-out and entertainment options. Schools, shopping malls, markets, hospitals and parks are at a walkable distance. There is regular and clean drinking water supply, thanks to the Ganga Jal Pariyojna. A number of good schools have also come up close by such as Amity International, Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, S G Public School and Delhi Public School.
There are no issues related to local transport as Anand Vihar ISBT, railway station and Vaishali Metro station are in the vicinity. Autos and buses are easily available.
I commute to my workplace in Chawri Bazaar in my car and it takes me about 35 minutes. We have private security guards in our society and there are hardly any issues related to maintenance.
We have in-house maintenance services for all common facilities on a sharing basis. Our RWA charges R1.25 per sq ft per month from every family for main- tenance, which includes power back-up, garbage collection, etc.
We have access to common area facilities such as parks, swimming pool, gym, parking and lifts. My family is satisfied with our experience of living here. Royal Legacy is open from all sides and is quite green. It offers 99 2, 3 and 4 bedroom apartments in two blocks - gold and silver, which are well-designed.
As the secretary of the society, I would like to highlight the major issues that we face. These include frequent power cuts which happen four to six hours in a day.
The condition of some of the roads needs to be improved and we want the authorities to pay attention to this. It wasn’t too bad when we shifted here. These are the roads connecting Sector 18 and Link Road and the road connecting with Indirapuram.
Though cases related to law and order are reported, Vasundhara is among the safer areas in Ghaziabad. I would recommend this to anyone who wishes to buy property and live here.
