‘Va­sund­hara is the best in Ghazi­abad’

My ex­pe­ri­ence of liv­ing in Va­sund­hara has been sat­is­fac­tory. I shifted here in 2007 to Sec­tor 15 af­ter liv­ing in Ha­pur and Kamla Nehru Na­gar. I liked the in­fra­struc­ture here, which is much bet­ter if you com­pare it with Vaishali, Kaushambi and Indi­ra­pu­ram.

Most of the projects in Va­sund­hara have been com­pleted, though there is still a gap in the de­mand and sup­ply.

I live in a 1550 sq ft 3BHK in Royal Legacy. I bought this house for R47 lakh in 2007. The price of this prop- erty has now in­creased by about 100%. We have ac­cess to all fa­cil­i­ties here and the de­vel­oper has de­liv­ered what was promised to us.

There are plenty of shop­ping, eat­ing-out and en­ter­tain­ment op­tions. Schools, shop­ping malls, mar­kets, hos­pi­tals and parks are at a walk­a­ble dis­tance. There is reg­u­lar and clean drink­ing wa­ter sup­ply, thanks to the Ganga Jal Pariy­o­jna. A num­ber of good schools have also come up close by such as Amity In­ter­na­tional, Seth Anan­dram Jaipuria School, S G Pub­lic School and Delhi Pub­lic School.

There are no is­sues re­lated to lo­cal trans­port as Anand Vi­har ISBT, rail­way sta­tion and Vaishali Metro sta­tion are in the vicin­ity. Au­tos and buses are eas­ily avail­able.

I com­mute to my work­place in Chawri Bazaar in my car and it takes me about 35 min­utes. We have pri­vate se­cu­rity guards in our so­ci­ety and there are hardly any is­sues re­lated to maintenance.

We have in-house maintenance ser­vices for all com­mon fa­cil­i­ties on a shar­ing ba­sis. Our RWA charges R1.25 per sq ft per month from ev­ery fam­ily for main- ten­ance, which in­cludes power back-up, garbage col­lec­tion, etc.

We have ac­cess to com­mon area fa­cil­i­ties such as parks, swim­ming pool, gym, park­ing and lifts. My fam­ily is sat­is­fied with our ex­pe­ri­ence of liv­ing here. Royal Legacy is open from all sides and is quite green. It of­fers 99 2, 3 and 4 bed­room apart­ments in two blocks - gold and sil­ver, which are well-de­signed.

As the sec­re­tary of the so­ci­ety, I would like to high­light the ma­jor is­sues that we face. Th­ese in­clude fre­quent power cuts which hap­pen four to six hours in a day.

The con­di­tion of some of the roads needs to be im­proved and we want the au­thor­i­ties to pay at­ten­tion to this. It wasn’t too bad when we shifted here. Th­ese are the roads con­nect­ing Sec­tor 18 and Link Road and the road con­nect­ing with Indi­ra­pu­ram.

Though cases re­lated to law and order are re­ported, Va­sund­hara is among the safer ar­eas in Ghazi­abad. I would rec­om­mend this to any­one who wishes to buy prop­erty and live here.
