A long-term in­vest­ment

I bought two units - a 1 BHK and a 2 BHK - in Sun­world City on Ya­muna Ex­press­way last year. The smaller unit cost me 18 lakh and the big­ger one, around 27 lakh. The price of my unit hasn’t ap­pre­ci­ated in the last nine months; how­ever it’s a long-term in­vest­ment as I know this area will take some years to de­velop.

Con­sid­er­ing that many in­sti­tu­tional and in­dus­trial schemes have been launched by Ya­muna Ex­press­way In­dus­trial De­vel­op­ment Au­thor­ity, the real es­tate mar­ket in this area will cer­tainly grow in the fu­ture.

The Metro com­ing to Greater Noida is an­other pos­i­tive as­pect. Also, many cor­po­rates such as NIIT etc are set­ting up their of­fices here.

The de­vel­oper has promised us a lot of ameni­ties such as a flower gar­den, a Zen gar­den, a club, a swim­ming pool, a kids pool, an open air am­phithe­ater, a party lawn, a sit out for se­nior cit­i­zens, a badminton court to name a few.

Be­sides the ameni­ties, the township has a great lo­ca­tion. It has di­rect ac­cess from the high­way and is close to the largest sports city in the coun­try.

It’s just 10 min­utes from In­dia’s first pro­posed Night Sa­fari. I am quite hope­ful that my in­vest­ment will give me good re­turns in the
