I am in­ter­ested in buy­ing a por­tion of a prime res­i­den­tial prop­erty which is cur­rently owned and in­hab­ited by two sib­lings and their re­spec­tive fam­i­lies. I am plan­ning to pur­chase the un­di­vided share of one sib­ling in this joint prop­erty (that is, 50%). Can I pur­chase such un­di­vided share in a joint prop­erty? Will I get pos­ses­sion for the share?
