A new realty hub in Sohna

Tak­ing a cue from Dwarka Ex­press­way, Cross­ings Republik, Raj Na g ar Ex­ten­sion and Greater Noida West, about 11 builders have come to­gether to de­velop and pro­mote Sohna as an af­ford­able realty des­ti­na­tion. As many as 2,000 acres will be de­vel­oped in the area to be mar­keted as ‘south’ of Gur­gaon.

Li­cences have al­ready been given to build around 65,000 houses on 700 acres of land, a spokesper­son of the new builders’ con­sor­tium has said.

Builders ac­tive in the area in­clude Su­pertech Lim­ited, Ashi­ana Homes, Ashi­ana Hous­ing, Cen­tral Park, Eldeco, ILD, CHD De­vel­op­ers, Sil­ver­glades, MKS Ven­tures, Gold Souk and Nimai De­vel­op­ers.

South of Gur­gaon is lo­cated on the foothills of the Ar­aval­lis. There are many schools that are op­er­a­tional in the area. The main ad­van­tage of the area is its lo­ca­tion. It is just a 20-min­utes drive from main com­mer­cial hubs like Cy­ber City and Golf Course Road and shop­ping malls of Gur­gaon.

On of­fer will be af­ford­able hous­ing projects priced at around ₹ 4,500 per sq ft.

“South of Gur­gaon is just a few min­utes away by car from the main Gur­gaon city, which is ex­pen­sive for the mid­dle class buyer.

South of Gur­gaon is an af­ford­able op­tion for those want­ing to stay in or near Gur­gaon as the re­gion of­fers prop­er­ties at al­most half the prices com­pared to Gur­gaon. It is very im­por­tant to de­velop newer re­gions and make it worth liv­ing,”says a Credai spokesper­son.
