MAN STABS WIFE’S PARAMOUR TO DEATH
A man, along with his two accomplices, stabbed a labourer at Chuharpur Road to death late on Monday night. Though the accused have not been arrested, but the police are claiming that illicit relation of the victim with the wife of the main accused led to the crime.
The deceased has been identified as Om Parkash ( 26) of Harmeet Colony. The Haibowal police have booked Vinod Kumar of the same locality and his two accomplices for the murder.
According to the police, Om Parkash, who basically hailed from Bihar lived in the colony along with his family and worked in a factory. On Monday night, he was going towards Chuharpur road, when Vinod and two others confronted him and stabbed him with knife. The accused fled the spot after the committing the crime.
Some passersby sounded the police after seeing Om Parkash lying in a pool of blood. The police reached the spot and took him to a hospital. Om Parkash told the police that Vinod and two others stabbed him. Later, he succumbed to his injuries.
Haibowal SHO inspector SP Singh said Vinod was angry with Om Parkash after he got to know of the alleged illicit relation of the victim with his wife. “Vinod had sent his wife to Bihar a few days ago and was looking for the right time to teach Om Prakash a lesson,” said the SHO.
“The identity of Vinod's accomplices could not be ascertained yet. Vinod could have escaped to Bihar after committing the crime. We have dispatched police parties to Bihar for his arrest,” he added.
It is third murder in the city in the past 24 hours.
