Govt policies have let people down, says Left

HT Ludhiana Live - - Front Page - LUDHIANA:

State committees of the Marxist Communist Party of India (U) strongly opposed the fresh dose of direct and indirect taxes levied on people the SAD-BJP government. Kuldip Singh, secretary, Punjab state committee of CPM said the state government had betrayed people by framing anti-people policies. The state committee has taken a serious notice of scheme of giving extension to retiring and employees for two years, which they believe will give rise to unemployment. Polit Bureau will now meet in Ludhiana on September 1 and 2 to discuss the government's recent decisions and policies.
