Tal­ent hunt con­test held at Pratap col­lege

Par­tap Col­lege of Ed­u­ca­tion or­gan­ised its an­nual tal­ent hunt com­pe­ti­tion on Wed­nes­day to lo­cate the po­ten­tial tal­ent of bud­ding artists for the up­com­ing youth fes­ti­val.

Con­tests like folk and clas­si­cal dances, shabad and bha­jan gayan, dra­matic songs, decla­ma­tion, poem recita­tion, skit and singing were or­gan­ised.

The judges on the oc­ca­sion were Prof Sukhjin­der Singh, prin­ci­pal, Gov­ern­ment Col­lege of Ed­u­ca­tion, Farid­kot; Dr Ramesh Inder Bal, fi­nance sec­re­tary, Par­tap Col­lege of Ed­u­ca­tion and Prof Ka­mal­jeet Singh, who gave valu­ables tips and guide­lines to the per­form­ers on how to pol­ish and hone up their skills.

The star at­trac­tion of the day was Jageer Singh’s multi-tal­ented per­for­mances as a folk singer, folk dancer and folk or­ches­tra player.

Dr Bal­want Singh, prin­ci­pal of Par­tap Col­lege of Ed­u­ca­tion, pro­posed a vote of thanks at the end.
