School­child­ren learn about north In­dia’s ge­og­ra­phy

The Class 9 and 10 students of Guru Gobind Singh Pub­lic School vis­ited Dr Up­pal Mu­seum of Wa­ter Re­sources at Pun­jab Agri­cul­ture Univer­sity (PAU)to gain knowl­edge about the di­verse ge­og­ra­phy of north In­dia.

Af­ter the field trip, students used the in­for­ma­tion they had gained dur­ing the visit to make projects.

Most of the young vis­i­tors to the mu­seum chose to pre­pare projects on Kailash peak and the holy lake of Mansarovar. Staff mem­bers and students en­joyed the ed­u­ca­tion trip and thanked the school prin­ci­pal Man­jit Kaur for or­gan­is­ing the trip for the students.
