5.4 cr Indians did not eshop for 2nd time

India Business Journal - - NEWS ROUND-UP -

As many as 5.4 crore Indian users stopped online transaction after their first purchase in the last 12 months, according to a research jointly conducted by Bain and Company, Google and Omidyar Network. The research also concludes that India's ecommerce will have to address some key issues to tap its potential and keep pace with internet expansion. It also adds that the country's online retail market is a $50-billion opportunity waiting to be realised. But that can happen when some issues, such as high user drop-outs and lower number of women e-shoppers, are addressed by e-tailers and other stakeholders.
