Boe­ing De­liv­ers on its Make in In­dia Prom­ises

Boe­ing has been work­ing with sup­pli­ers in In­dia for decades in man­u­fac­tur­ing, IT and en­gi­neer­ing ser­vices.

Boe­ing cur­rently works with 30 di­rect and 120 in­di­rect sup­pli­ers to pro­vide parts and as­sem­blies cov­er­ing aero-struc­tures, wire har­ness, com­pos­ites, forg­ings, avion­ics mis­sion sys­tems, and ground sup­port equip­ment.

Boe­ing’s sup­plier network in In­dia is de­liv­er­ing on com­plex work pack­ages for com­mer­cial and de­fense air­craft such as the 777, 787, P-8, F/A-18 Su­per Hor­net, F-15, and CH-47 Chi­nook. Novem­ber 2015: Boe­ing and Tata Ad­vanced Sys­tems ( TASL) an­nounced a joint ven­ture to man­u­fac­ture aerospace aero-struc­tures in In­dia and part­ner on co-de­vel­op­ment of sys­tems in the fu­ture June 2016: Boe­ing and TASL laid the foun­da­tion of the new JV fa­cil­ity in Hy­der­abad that will be the sole pro­ducer of Boe­ing AH-64 Apache he­li­copter fuse­lages glob­ally. JV is called Tata-Boe­ing

In 2014, Boe­ing set up a pro­duc­tion line at Dy­na­matic Tech­nolo­gies to pro­duce ramp and py­lon aero-struc­tures for the CH-47 Chi­nook he­li­copter.

Boe­ing opened a C-17 Training Cen­ter with Mahin­dra De­fence Sys­tems in July 2016 to pro­vide C-17 training ser­vices to the In­dian Air Force.

Boe­ing has been work­ing with Tata Ad­vanced Ma­te­ri­als, Mahin­dra De­fence Sys­tems, Dy­na­matic Tech­nolo­gies, Bharat Forge, Bharat Electron­ics, Tata Ad­vanced Sys­tems, Hindustan Aero­nau­tics, TAL Man­u­fac­tur­ing So­lu­tions, Ros­sel­lTech­sys, Sas­mos and other com­pa­nies, il­lus­trat­ing the var­ied aerospace ca­pa­bil­i­ties that Boe­ing is help­ing build in its In­dian sup­ply-chain.
