Con­struc­tion of Ter­mi­nal Build­ing of Jabalpur Air­port

NEW DELHI. The Air­ports Author­ity of In­dia (AAI) has de­cided to con­struct a new Ter­mi­nal Build­ing, ex­ten­sion of run­way, new apron, new ATC tower cum Tech­ni­cal Block, new Fire Sta­tion, in­stal ILS, re­lo­cate DVOR, con­struct boundary wall and perime­ter road at Jabalpur Air­port at an es­ti­mated cost of Rs 421 Crores.

Ex­ist­ing ter­mi­nal build­ing can cater only to 75 ar­riv­ing + 75 de­part­ing pas­sen­gers, suit­able for only one flight. Con­struc­tion of new Ter­mi­nal Build ing is in­tended to fa­cil­i­tate op­er­a­tion of 2 flights si­mul­ta­ne­ously with higher pas­sen­ger load per air­craft.
