Domestic Airlines Registers 18.03% growth in carrying passengers
NEW DELHI. Domestic airlines have registered 18.03 per cent year-on-year growth in carrying passengers, a Government press statement said July 19. Traffic data submitted by various domestic airlines has been analysed for the month of June, 2017 to find that passengers carried by domestic airlines during January-June, 2017 were 56.155 million as against 47.579 million during the corresponding period of previous year thereby registering a growth of 18.03 per cent. Domestic Air Traffic is likely to grow up to 126 million passengers during 2017-18.
