He al­ways had a pas­sion for words, teach­ing and read­ing. Prashant Prakash Chad­dha from Chandi­garh didn’t let it go waste. He set up Learn­ing Inc, an ed­u­ca­tion and con­tent de­vel­op­ment com­pany that pro­vides con­tent for com­pet­i­tive ex­am­i­na­tions like CAT as well as copy writ­ing ser­vices for or­gan­i­sa­tions.

THE JOUR­NEY His web­sites www.word­pan­dit.com and www. cat.word­pan­dit.com reg­is­tered a 100 per­cent growth ev­ery month through 2010-11. The busi­ness that started as a one man show in 2007 now has two teams of car­toon­ists plus in­terns from Pan­jab Univer­sity. “I drew from my love for lan­guage, art and ed­u­ca­tion to launch the online pub­li­ca­tion 'Think­ing Cult', which grad­u­ally grew into www.word­pan­dit.com,” says Chadha.

THE CHANGE The com­pany’s user base has grown tremen­dously from 20 users per day in May 2011 to 800 users per day in Septem­ber. They will soon be launch­ing a se­ries of books and guides in the mar­ket.
