Game for Fame
For Nandita Das, 41, the accolades never stop. She has become the first Indian to be inducted into the International Women’s Forum Hall of Fame for her contribution to the arts. Known for hard-hitting movies such as Fire, Earth and Firaaq, she is also the head of the Children’s Film Society of India. With predecessors such as Audrey Hepburn, jazz singer Ella Fitzgerald and writer Isabel Allende inducted into the Hall of Fame before her, Das has much to be happy about.
