Time Is Money

India Today - - SNAPSHOT -

We as working women are obsessed with the idea of the tug of war between the work-place and home. From television series, to movies, to books, this is one theme that relates instantly to the modern woman. According to a new survey by More Magazine, the tide may be shifting as more women are choosing to opt out of the rat race. The survey reports that women in the professional world prefer more flexibility and time than a big promotion. According to The Grindstone, which reported the survey, 43 per cent of women interviewed said they felt less drive when they had their family than when they started out. 67 per cent of women would turn down more cash if the alternatives were a more flexible working schedule. This proves that maternal guilt is often the strongest antidote to a soaring career graph.
