This is the per­fect desti­na­tion for egg-lovers. Dish­ing out the reg­u­lars like om­lettes and scram­bled eggs to more ad­ven­tur­ous dishes like Brioche Bril­liance (eggs scram­bled with cream on toasted brioche with toma­toes, basil and pesto), Eg­gov­er­seas (fried fish and eggs), and a va­ri­ety of bene­dicts (shrimp, clas­sic, chicken), the café gets re­ally busy in the morn­ings.there’s plenty for those who pre­fer to skip eggs in the morn­ing. The menu of­fers all­time favourites like idli, dosa, puri chana, paran­tha and pav bhaji. All the items are not dis­played at the buf­fet so it might not ap­pear as a lav­ish spread. “We be­lieve in serv­ing from pan to plate,” says sous chef Sub­hash Rawat. So don’t be dis­ap­pointed if you don’t find idli in the buf­fet. You can or­der it at the live counter. We or­dered the Chicken Bene­dict (poached eggs and chicken breast on an English muf­fin, served with hol­landaise sauce). The eggs were cooked to per­fec­tion but we wish the chicken breasts hadn’t been so dry and hard. But their Break­fast Burger which com­bines eggs and veg­eta­bles like mush­rooms, toma­toes and spinach was de­li­cious. The good news for hearty eaters is that the por­tions here are ex­tremely gen­er­ous.
