Power food

India Today - - SIMPLY DELHI -

A favourite among expats and executives, Seasonal Tastes is busy on most mornings. The buffet includes the full spectrum when it comes to breakfast. For those who are looking for some comfort food, there are classic breakfast items like cold cuts, idli, porridge, eggs, puri chana and for calorie watchers, there are healthy options like blueberry banana smoothie, and berry, apple and granola muesli. They also have a real honey comb for fresh honey. But it is their Superfoods which are rich in anti-oxidants take the centre stage. All their dishes which contain Superfoods (apple, avocado, walnuts, bluberries, oranges, spinach, tomatoes, oats, cinnamon) are marked by greenleaf logo. “Certain foods when paired together are even more nutritious than when they are eaten separately,” says executive chef David Watson. For example, avocados increase the absorption of antioxidants in other Superfoods such as spinach and tomatoes while cinnamon and whole grains such as oats work together to control blood sugar. The peach pancakes we ordered were topped with avocado and maple syrup, while the chocolate croissants melted in our mouths. Timings: 6:30am to 10:30am Price: Rs 850 (per person) plus taxes Call:01244977831
