BJP President Nitin Gadkari is leaving no chair unfilled in the party’s attempt to return to power at the Centre. An empty chair between L.K. Advani and Narendra Modi during Advani’s Jan Chetana Yatra at Vapi in Gujarat was misinterpreted as the growing distance between the two leaders. Now Gadkari says he will “ensure that no chair remains empty”. For the record, the chair was used by Gujarat BJP President R.C. Faldu who had got up at that point to deliver his speech. You can bring a leader to the chair on the dais but how do you make him sit?
