India Today - - SIMPLY HYDERABAD -

For budding scientists in the making, this workshop is all about understanding the science behind robots and creating one of your own. From building simple models to creating robot arms that stretch out to maximum extension limits, children will learn it all. They will also build robot toy models and motorize them.

Since movement is an important aspect of robot building, children will also learn to make robots that walk or pulled along on wheels. Once they are more familiar with these tasks, they will brainstorm in groups on what they’d like their robots to do. Children will then programme the robots to perform these tasks—open doors, bring things and more such.

HIGHLIGHTS The workshop will instill in children higher order thinking skills, while working in a stimulating and challenging envi- ronment in teams. COST Rs 3,000
