Paper craft is fun, therapeutic and among other things, can also teach your child patience. This is the idea behind the various paper craft classes offered at Kalpataru. The younger children here learn to make simple finger puppets and cutouts of animals.
The slightly older ones and teens can opt for paper quilling— curling thin paper strips in patters and fixing them on a background sheet to make wall hangings, greeting cards or bookmarks. A favourite here is the Oregetta flower class where children can make flower cut-outs of crepe paper and twist it on flexible wires to form bouquets and arrangements.
HIGHLIGHTS The focus is on making paper art that can actually be used as table top show pieces or wall art
