MICROSOFT USER EXPERIENCE DESIGNER (UXD), MICROSOFT DEVELOPMENT CENTRE, HYDERABAD

India Today - - CAREER WATCH -

“A UXD’S job is challenging and it is easier said than done but the accomplishment makes it worth”

A UX designer at the Microsoft India Development Centre since September 2010, she did her graduation from NIFT and post graduation from the National Institute of Design. It was the Microsoft Imagine Cup in 2006 which she won made her realise her potential in the field.

Speaking about the various institutes that offer courses in user interface design, she says that it’s important for one to have a flair in technology too. She says, “Design is a challenge and it is easier said than done.” A designers’ role is challenging but can be simply put across as a process where one is to find a solution to a complex problem based on understanding the user’s abilities, hopes and expectations from a specific product.
