THEME CAMPS
There is never a dearth of happy faces at Kriya Studio. The platter of activities is so full here that there are no dull moments. Set up in 2003, Kriya’s range of endeavours started off with summer camps but soon grew to encompass round- the- year classes for dance, music, kickboxing and cardio workouts. Spread across 3500 sq ft, the sliding wooden panels are adjusted to accommodate differing class sizes, the mirrored walls ensure that the sense of space is well amplified. Equipped with state- of- the- art light and sound technology, and educational equipment from leading brands, it is a treasure trove for children. Popular activities here include theme camps like Angry Birds, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as well as regular summer camps. The Angry Birds camp, for example, includes making arcades, decorating cupcakes, designing puppets, visiting the zoo, enacting a play and participating in gaming competitions, all based on the theme of the video game. The programmes in the Transformers camp comprise visits to the trove, making recycled Transformers, watching 3D films, and putting together an exhibition.
