Oil­ing the body reg­u­larly helps blood cir­cu­la­tion, opens up pores and throws tox­ics out of the body. Ayurveda also rec­om­mends it on a daily ba­sis for good health and longevity. To make the oil at home, take a muslin or thin cot­ton cloth and put a hand­ful of sesame seeds into it. Roll the cloth to make a tight ball and put it on a steamer. Steam the ball for five to 10 min­utes and mas­sage the body with this ball. The oil that comes from it works as an ex­cel­lent mois­turiser for the skin. Don’t take a shower for at least two hours af­ter this mas­sage so that the ef­fect of the oil isn’t lost.
