Disappointed at not being selected for a premier fashion event, designer Sneha Arora took to a new design platform to find a different avenue. Copy Cat, her line of home décor and personal utility items was thus launched in December last year. It’s all about being vintage here with items like yellowed pages of old books that come with funny one- liners or inspirational quotes, encased in thick black frames and bows made with textile scraps. Retailing through Facebook and a host of online shopping portals, Sneha’s decision to trade online has worked wonders. Aiming to make art affordable, Sneha’s retro frames containing graphic prints without much ornamentation are quirky and different. Other products in her kitty include notebooks, purses, bottle lamps and cushion covers with metallic prints. retail at coppycatindia@ gmail. com 600 to Rs 1,200 for wall art and Rs 350 for cushion covers
