Like the spice its named af­ter, shop­ping at Cin­na­mon is a multi sen­sory ex­pe­ri­ence that is highly ap­peal­ing to touch, smell and sight, all at the same time. Prod­ucts here are sourced from more than 200 de­sign­ers and sup­pli­ers across the coun­try and range from eth­nic women’s cloth­ing to can­dle hold­ers. Rad­hika, the owner of the store says that she likes to stock In­dian prod­ucts, and the shelves at this store are filled with items that have a strong em­pha­sis on de­sign. Shop here for silk stoles, scented can­dles, fine din­ner­ware along with life- like wax fruits. Apart from this are ap­parel by city- based de­sign­ers like Vivek Narang Salt and Pero. Pick up co­conut can­dles in shells and eclec­tic news­pa­per place mats wherein pieces of news­pa­per have been rolled on to the frame. “There are cer­tain prod­ucts that I want peo­ple to as­so­ciate with Cin­na­mon, things that they should be able to find only here,” says Rad­hika. The store is also a hot spot for celebri­ties with Nan­dini Alva, Vani Ganapathy, Lisa Ray, Shobha De and Ro­hini Nilekani are a few who’ve been spot­ted here.
