Mital Surendira’s boutique, Sanskrriti, started as a simple extension of her creative instincts almost ten years ago and has now grown to cater to an important clientele including film personalities and industrialists. Sanskriti thrives on the idea that our celebrations— be it weddings, festivals or baby announcements - are full of pomp and splendour.
And so, here you’ll find gifts ranging from the smallest of items, like decorated sweet boxes to ornate thalis and fancy custommade invitations. For baby announcements, cute cradles made with a palm leaf base and decorated with lace are available.
You can ask for off- beat invitations like a baby book and matki- shaped sweet containers for functions. Bangle boxes come in many innovative varieties here – from small, palm- sized ones to bigger, elaborate boxes. These are made with a wooden base, covered in rich raw silk or synthetic raw silk. Their brocade designs and unconventional colour combinations are a big hit.
Mital’s latest creation is a set of colourful rangolis. Made out of wood, stones and beads, these rangoli pieces come in shapes of diyas and mango motifs, and are available in a range of sizes. Also check out the large bag collection— from simple decorated paper bags to beautiful potli bags in silk and brocade.
