UNICEF KNOWLEDGE COMMUNITY ON CHILDREN IN INDIA INTERNSHIP
Launched in order to engage development issues relating to India’s children and women, this internship provides students the opportunity to explore issues related to child rights in India across a variety of areas such as child protection, health, nutrition, education, and water and sanitation. The internship assignments involve a combination of desk and field work at district or village levels across the country. The interns are divided into different teams and each team is expected to submit a twenty page report at the end of the internship. Rs 20,000 will be paid as partial support to all interns.
Established in 1949, UNICEF is the largest United Nations organisation operating in India with research institutions in thirteen states.
